John Eugene Shaw, 80, of Aiea, a retired Navy lieutenant commander, died in Honolulu. He was born in Springfield, Ohio. He is survived by wife Kazuko A.; daughters Connie Shaw-Fujii, Lisa E. Shaw and Erica C. Kuni; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to Island Hospice or Hawaiian Humane Society.
