Masamitsu Mayekawa, 84, of El Cajon, Calif., a retired electronics engineer and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in San Diego. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Ahren and Daryl, brother Shigeo and sisters Elsie Mayekawa and Marilyn Caruthers. Private services.
