Gene "Buddy" Rickard, 81, of Honolulu, a retired medical contractor and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in California. He is survived by wife Loretta, daughters Tanya Heibert and Kim Rickard, and six grandchildren. Services to be held in California.
