Eugene Wilson Hewitt, 94, of Kailua-Kona, a retired federal government electrician and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Odon, Ind. He is survived by son William, daughter Karen Thornton, brother Roy, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. No services.
