Age 65, of Kaneohe, HI, passed away January 16, 2013 in Kaneohe. Born June 21, 1947 in Waipahu, HI. He was raised in Waianae and resided in Kaneohe. He retired from the Honolulu Police Department and at the time of his death, worked for the United States Marine Corp. as a criminal investigator. He was a generous and fun loving man enjoying life to its fullest. He is survived by son, Phillip Makiya; daughter, Tiffany Makiya; companion, Carol Iseri; sister, Sharon Rahn of Los Angeles. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 9) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
