David Kahaloa, 89, of Honolulu, a tug and barge mechanic and an Army retiree, died in the Veterans Affairs Center for Aging. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by sons David Jr., Vincent and Zachary; daughters Deborah Y.M. Naranjo, Rosaline Campbell and Johanna Calhau; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
