Donna Emiko Pong Su LimDONNA EMIKO PONG SU LIM
Like a momentary touch, Donna Emiko Pong Su Lim passed through our lives on January 30, 2013. She was full of life and always looking forward to new challenges. Donna was born on January 20, 1960 to Raymond and Amy (Yagi) Lim. She attended St. Andrew's Priory where she excelled at sports and made lasting friendships. Upon graduation she studied at Pacific University (OR) where she graduated with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. During her years at Pacific she met some amazing people who stood by her side to the very end. A few years after graduation she started her career with the City and County of Honolulu where she worked her way up the ranks and finally retired as Kalakaua Complex Supervisor. Donna believed she had a firm grasp on life and that everything she did or encountered she found some humor something to chuckle about or a funny story to tell. She made every moment count like taking a fishing trip to Alaska, playing penny slots in Vegas or visiting Oregon to be with family. Oregon held a special place in her heart because this is where her nephew Landon lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Amy. Survivors include Raymond (father), Harlan (brother), Noland (Brother), Barbara (sister in law) and Landon (nephew). The memorial service will be at Borthwick Mortuary on February 15, 2013 at 5:00pm - Viewing; 6:00pm - Service.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
