James Makia Ku Jr., 65, of Ewa Beach, a federal government grounds-keeper and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in San Francisco. He is survived by mother Phoebe Andrews; brothers Ikuwa J., Paul and Patrick Ku, and Robert Andrews; and sisters Nancyann K. Tinnell, Kamuela Potter, Andrea Martin, Wanda Aina and Weedonette Hannibal. Private services.
