Mildred M. Akeo, 88, of Waimanalo, a homemaker and an Air Force veteran, died at home. She was born in Hawaii. She is survived by sons George and Harold, daughters Aileen Loyd and Shirley Paoa, brother Richard Ohara, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Inurnment: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
