Clarence Y.K. Young, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Army master sergeant who served in the Korean War, a member of the 5th Regimental Combat Team and a Korean War POW, died in Honolulu. He was also a retired welder at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 26. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son John; daughters Thelma A. Rice, Pam Young and Martina Campos; sisters Evelyn McKee and Thelma Aana; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
