Sadamu Tsubota, 92, of Pahoa, Hawaii, proprietor of various businesses, including S. Tsubota Inc., the former Puna Tavern and the Drip n Dry laundromat, died in Pohai Malama Hospice inHilo. He was also former manager of Hilo Singer Sewing and Kapaa Singer Sewing on Kauai and was an Army veteran who served in the Military Intelligence Service during World War II. He was born in Pahoa, Hawaii. He is survived by son Russell, daughters Suzan Nakashima and Hazelynn Amano, brothers Teruto and Katsushi "Duce," sister Tatsuko Hayashikawa and five grandchildren. Visitation:2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary in Hilo. Services:4 p.m. Casual attire.
