Shayne Yoshi Kalani Kobayashi, 38, of Pahoa, Hawaii, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by companion Barbie-Jo Rapoza; sons Shayne Kobayashi Jr. and Gabriel Nasario; daughters Jasmine, Ashley and Karley Burcena, and Tiare Kobayashi; parents Russell Kobayashi and Kathleen Carvalho Kobayashi; sisters Kandylynn and Krystal; and grandparents Leilani Kobayashi and Ronald and Annie Tai-See. Visitation: 7 a.m. Saturday at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
