Age 78, of Honolulu, passed away on April 8, 2013, in Kuakini Medical Center. Born in Olaa, Hawaii, she was a retired bookkeeper for the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her husband, Roy; son, Miles (Lynne) Nakamura; daughter, Lynne Aki-Steele; five grandchildren and brother, Tom Takayoshi (Sylvia) Miyake. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; memorial service 6:00 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society Hawaii Chapter.
