Walter Takashi "Taka" Miyashiro, 78, of Kaneohe, an Air Force veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brothers Richard "Kino" Miyashiro and Isamu Takushi, and sisters Nancy West and Dorothy Hurtig. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
