Beatrice M. Kanda, 100, of Eleele, Kauai, owner of Hanapepe Tavern, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Huleia, Kauai. She is survived by son Edward Sr.; daughters Clara Yokoyama, Millie Lang, Estelle Furuike and Cathy Mosier; brothers Masao and Kunio Hasegawa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private services. No monetary offerings.
