Yasuo "Stan" Tamashiro, 80, of Pearl City, a Coast Guard veteran, died in Pearl City. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by son James Barnhart; daughter Mary Barnhart; brothers Isamu, Michael and Richard; sisters Akiko Makabe and Dorothea Arakaki; and many grandchildren. Private services.
