JAMES BRITTEN James Britten of Kailua passed away on December 28, 2013, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was a pipefitter at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for 50 years, and was a Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife, Frances Britten, his son, Joshua Lee Britten, daughters Angela Marie Britten and Valerie Rose Terry, son- in-law Gregory Terry, three granddaughters: Isabella Miki, Alana Terry and Makenna Terry, his sister, Gloria Wood, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Kailua Beach Park at 10 AM on Monday, April 21, 2014. Aloha attire (swimsuit if accompanying the canoes). The family requests donations in his name to the Blood Bank of Hawaii.
