81Sarah L. Takatani, 87, of Kahului, a retired Intercontinental Hotel Maui housekeeper, died in Hale Makua Wailuku. She was born in Lahaina. She is survived by sons Hervey and Leslie; daughters Jeannie Akiyama, Naomi Nieto, Margaret Murakami and Gay Kaopuiki; sister Mabel Jaentsch; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
