Myrene Kainoa Van Gieson, 49, of Waianae died in Pali Momi Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by companion Rodney Walker, son Rakeem, daughter Rashawnda and a grandchild. Scattering of ashes at Nanakuli Park, canoe halau to be determined.
