Emory Allen Souza, 71, of Nanawale, Hawaii, an Otis Elevator Co. employee and Navy veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Jeffrey; daughters Darlene S. Olayan, Sarina S. Balderrama and Lisa Souza; brothers Stanley and Gary A.; sister Beverly R. Mattos; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass: 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Pahoa Catholic Cemetery. Casual or aloha attire.
