ROLLO LEE LEWELLEN
78, of Maile, Hawaii passed away June 14, 2010. He was born to Alice and Albert Lee Lewellen May 18, 1932 in Cedar City Utah. Served as a Staff Sergeant in The U.S. Marine Corp at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. Graduated from the University of Utah with Bachelor of Science Degree in 1954 Received a Certificate in Data Processing in 1963, Master of Science in 1979 and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Computer Science in 1980. Recognized by The Marquis Who's Who in the World in Data Processing (as a computer scientist) 1968, Who's Who in the West (as a businessman) in 1991 and Who's Who in the World (scientist of note) in 1997. As an active member of Rotary since 1952, he was also a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Jean Lewellen. Daughters - Terry Lutje, Cindy Lewellen-Tagavilla , Jill Lewellen-Aiona. Son - Kris Lewellen. Grandchildren - Dawnell Goodin, Michael Smith, Jedidiah Lewellen, Lucas Lewellen and Laneika Tagavilla. Great Grandchildren - Amica and Alexa Furno, Stryder and Korbyn Lewellen, Nila Goodin and Kingston Tagavilla-Ragonjan.
A private ceremony will be held at Nanakuli Beach Park on Saturday Oct 23, 2010 at 10:30a.m. Friends welcome.
