Please join us to remember and celebrate her life on Friday, October 22, at a memorial service at Kailua United Methodist Church, 1110 Kailua Rd. for a 10:30 viewing and a 11:30 service.
Grandma will be remembered by her family and friends for her giving heart, her enthusiasm for life, and her million dollar smile. The Hawaiian community will remember her for her committed membership in the Waimanalo Civic Club and her stories of aumakua, mo'o,and kahuna that she shared with DOE students as she worked for the Kupuna Program and UH students while she worked as a manaleo, native speaker. She will be cherished and dearly missed by all.
Grandma is survived by her son Earl Kaina, daughter, Wailani Broad, and her sisters, Lei Louis, Noholani Nolan, Rita Meheula, and brother Bernard Hauani'o, 9 grand-children, 19 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren.
