Akino "Aki" Honda, 96, of Honokaa, Hawaii, proprietress of the former Paauhau Community Store and a Waimea Steak House day cook, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Myles S., Edward M., Harvey O. and Milton S.; sisters Yoshie Kuroda and Clara Murakami; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamakua Jodo Mission. Service: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
