Nelson Naoyoshi Kato, 94, of Aiea, a federal government retiree and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jean, sons Steven and Riki, daughters Carol Lynn Kato and Raejean Brown, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Committal services: 9:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
