SHARYN FUMIE BONHAM Sharyn Fumie Bonham passed away on May 25, 2015, at North Shore Hospital, New Zealand. She was 70 years old. Sharyn was born in Honolulu on February 16, 1945 and received her BA from the University of Hawaii (Manoa). For more than 30 years, Sharyn and her husband, Phil, have made New Zealand their home. At the time of her death, she was employed as a librarian at Massey University, Albany Campus; a job she truly enjoyed with people she adored. She is survived by husband Phillip, daughter Amy (James) Freeman, and sisters Janis (Dennis) Obara and Deborah Ishihara. A service to celebrate Sharyn's life was held at the Romaleigh Chapel, Northcote, New Zealand. Dearly loved for her strength, goodness and endless support of and caring for others, she will be missed by all who knew her. The family greatly appreciates the dedication and care Sharyn received at the North Shore Hospice, and by the emergency health care technicians and physicians who attended to her.
