RAYMOND ERNEST NAYLON, SR.
$nameRAYMOND ERNEST NAYLON, SR. Age 82, of Honolulu, passed away May 7, 2015 in Honolulu. Born May 1, 1933 in Honolulu. He was the proud alumnus of Saint Louis College, Class of 1952 and went on to also graduate from the University of Hawaii with a BA degree in Sociology in 1961. Ray was a veteran of the Hawaii National Guard, and served until 1958, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. Naylon's lifetime of service was defined by 25 years as an Officer of the Honolulu Police Department, where he retired as Captain in 1981, 20 years as a Security Officer for Victoria Ward, Ltd., and 5 years as Inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Among his many interests was his dedication to the Honolulu Marathon Association, running his first race in 1978 and later volunteering and helping organize the annual run into the 1990s. He is survived by sons, Raymond N. (Constance) Bickson, Michael A. N. (Gianna) Bickson; daughters, Beth Bickson-Milici, Nalani Joan (Henry) Kreutz, Coreen K. (Auggie) Ornellas; brother, James Naylon; sister, Margo (Tim) Collins; 10 grand- children. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Saturday 6/20 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Celebration of Life 10:30 a.m. Burial 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park, Waipio. Flowers Welcome.
