Byron Herbert Chang, 62, of Waipahu, a business owner of a private general contractor, died in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Tyrel; daughters Chantry Kahapea and Rochelle Chang-Zausa; mother Blanche M.; brothers Nathaniel, Roland and Gareth; sisters Cindy Mariani and Laurie Manantan; stepbrother Hank Iaukea; and eight grandchildren.
