James "Jimmy" Urubio, also known as James Rubio, 82, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Co. heavy-equipment operator and a Hawaii Army National Guard retiree, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Marcella; sons Gary, Curtis, Bryan and Wayne Rubio; brothers Severino and Delbert; sisters Rose Marantan, Kay Ramos and Katherine Tamala; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
