Ted L. Pond, 85, of Makaha, a retired Army master sergeant, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Island Park, Idaho. He is survived by wife Rita Sue, sons Carl F.K. and Ted L. Jr., daughters Ireta Nakai Waynick and Lisa Uelani King, brothers Jack L. and C. Ray, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.
