STELLA & GEORGE MIYACHISTELLA GEORGE MIYACHI TOGETHER AGAIN! Stella Miyachi, 87, was reunited with her husband George in the Paradise of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth. She passed away on Thursday, Feb 11, 2016 at 3:26 pm. Her last words were her husband's name, she repeated it several times, then passed. After being separated by George's death in 2010, they are now reunited in heaven. Stella spent her last two years living with her son Randall and daughter in-law, Susan, in Kaimuki. She enjoyed daily walks and happily greeting the neighbors. She sang spontaneously when she was happy and often sang on her daily walks. She encouraged those around her with her words and kindness. Stella, a devoted Christian, placed her trust in Christ, and was water baptized at Olivet Baptist Church. In 1950, Stella became employed at Naval Supply Center (NSC), Pearl Harbor and worked there as an executive secretary to the NSC commander. In 1952, she met and married George Miyachi, at Olivet Baptist. Stella bore three children, Randall, Georgene Joy and Ginny Lynn. In 1962 Miyachis moved from Palolo to Pearl City. They joined First Baptist Church Pearl City, pastored by Mori and Lillian Hiratani. In 1970, the Miyachi family moved from Pearl City to Wailupe Circle in Aina Hina. There George built a beautiful home for Stella. The couple entertained many friends and family at their Wailupe home. They also helped raise their three grandchildren, David Miyachi, Christy and Heidi Christian in their home. Stella moved from NSC, PH to work for Defense Investigative Service (DIS), USDOD as a secretary. She retired from DIS in Jan 1984 with many fond memories the Special Agents who worked at DIS, Honolulu Field Office. Stella and George were most often seen together walking around Kahala Mall, greeting friends and eating at Kahala Zippys everyday during their retirement years. Everyone who knew them said, "You always saw them together they were always together". They were very much in love. And now through forgiveness and salvation provided by their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they are together again! Stella was laid to rest at Diamond Head Memorial Park during a private service attended by her family. Aloha Oe Stella! Until we met again! Love you MOM!
