FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Geraldine Frank Kelley
$nameGERALDINE FRANK KELLEY Geraldine Frank Kelley, 85, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ while surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised on Jack Lane in Nu'uanu, she graduated from McKinley high school, and worked as a clerk at Castle & Cook, then transferred to Matson Navigation where she later retired. Geri traveled the world singing and dancing hula with the Honolulu Police Choral Group Women's Auxiliary, co-founded Flying Tigers Cargo and Dan's Trucking, and helped to coordinate the Puerto Rican Senior men's baseball league. Geri raised her son Clarence "Tookie" Kelley as a single mother and managed to send him to Iolani School, Bowdoin College, and the University of British Columbia where he earned his Master degree in Art. He later became the curator at the Dayton Art Institute. Nana, as she's affectionate called, blossomed into a strong, independent, giving matriarch for our family. Nana survived by hanai daughter Napua, grand- daughter Kalena (Lisa), grandson Joshua, 5 great grandchildren Kapryce (Helaman), Summer, Jordan, Peyton and Mahina, and 3 great-great-grand- children Kaikane, Reef and Hailey-Kai. A private celebration of Nana's wonderful life is being held on Friday April 29th at the Honolulu Elks Club.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
