William Christopher "Bully" Kurashige Sr., 77, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, an Air Force retiree and a heavy equipment mechanic, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Kealakekua. He is survived by wife Virginia; son William Jr.; daughter Beverly Apina; brother Jesse Valera; sisters Alvine Victorine, Dayne Snell, Yvonne Hurley and Tiny Paulos; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Aug. 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kailua-Kona. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the All Saints Cemetery, Honaunau. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
