Augustin Almodova, 91, of Honolulu, passed away on December 28, 2016 at his home. Born March 9, 1925 in Eleele, Kauai. Augustin worked at HRT/MTL for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Bessie S.L. Yee Almodova; children, Darleen E. Bumanglag, Dennis A., Jon S., Jeff M. and Denise M. Smith (Kele); 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Ben Almadova (Diane) and David Almodova (Ethel); sisters, Bella Carvalho and Margaret Dupont. Visitation 9:30-11:15a.m. Saturday, 2/11/2017 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel; service 11:15a.m. with burial to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park at 12:45p.m. Casual attire.
