Age 71, of Pearl City and formerly of Manoa, passed away on February 26, 2017. He was born in Honolulu and was a luthier at Harry's Music Store. Miles is survived by wife Faye Shigemura; children Reid Shigemura and Karen Kamihara; granddaughters Sasha and Elliot; brothers Roy and Denis Shigemura (Alex) and sister Norma Parado (Gerald Ting). Visitation 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, service 6 p.m. Inurnment service 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl).
