88 of Honolulu, passed away on February 17, 2017 at Straub Medical Center, Honolulu. He was born on October 2, 1928 in Makaweli, Kauai. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel, Honolulu. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m., burial will be at a later time at Greenhaven Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Oahu. Buddy was a heavy equipment mechanic with Hawaii Equipment/ International Harvesters. He is survived by sons, Paul R. Lutao and Patrick J. (Kimberly) Lutao; brother, Mansueto "Tito" (Adelaida) Lutao; and 1 grandson, Bryson C. Lutao and numerous nieces and nephews. Buddy was predeceased by his wife, Marcelina "Mercy" A. Lutao; daughter, Christina A. Lutao; and son, Phillip A. Lutao.
