M. Wela Rosa passed away on November 22, 2016 in Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 81. He was born on September 7, 1935 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Wela was the owner & founder of Custom Ceramic Tile & known to be one of the best tile setters in Hawaii. His passion for hunting & traveling took him all over the world. He was one of the oldest members of the Safari Club International, Hawaii Chapter. He worked tirelessly & sacrificed so much to be able to always take care of his family, their families & to help someone in need, he especially could not bear to see anyone go hungry. He was brave, fearless & had the biggest heart that he shared with everyone, where ever he went. He treated & loved dear friends like family...most of all was his ultimate, never ending LOVE for his family. He is survived by his sons Michael & Alika Rosa, Tom Cornette, daughters Billie & Skylar Kennedy and Lara Cornette. Sister Ahuwena Naholowaa, numerous grandchildren & great- grand children. We are having a Celebration in his Honor on March 26, 2017, starting at 4:00pm at the Ke'ehi Lagoon Memorial Park, located at 2685 N. Nimitz Hwy., Honolulu, HI 96819.
