Charles Freitas Calistro Jr., 86, of Honolulu, a federal civil service law officer at Barbers Point Naval Air Station and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hanamaulu, Kauai. He is survived by companion Irene Ganueles, daughters Linda Joy Cabalbal and Charlene Deveraturda, sister Dorothy Jane Carvalho, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandchild. Private services. Private scattering of ashes in the Pacific Ocean.
