EIKO UYEHARA
Age 82, beloved mother and grandmother, of Honolulu, passed away on October 23, 2011. Born in Hilo, she was a retired library technician for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Hamilton Library. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Takashi, who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, she is survived by her daughters, Patricia L.A. Uyehara (James T.) Wong and Catherine F.T. (Alan H.) Yamauchi; son, Walter J.M. (Christine) Uyehara; brother, Paul (Rose) Haraguchi; sister, Rachel Ushijima and brother, Harry Tagomori; seven grand-children, Thomas, Jordan, Cory, David, Ryan, Sara and Jaron.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. on Monday

Atherton Chapel; memorial service 10:00 a.m. Committal service and inurnment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Aloha attire.
