74Alby G. Balinong Jr., 80, of Wailua, Kauai, a retired state highway worker, died at home. He was born in Kapaia, Kauai. He is survived by son Graham Kovarik; daughters Angela Balinong, Donna Kovarik and Alexis Carvalho; brother James Anakalea; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery. Services, fellowship and celebration of life to follow.
