Joseph De Vera, 86, of Pearl City, a retired foreman at the Pearl Harbor motor pool and an Army veteran, died in Pearl City. He was born in Waiakea, Hilo. He is survived by sons Joseph Lopaka Igarta-De Vera; daughter Raenette L. Igarta, Pamela K. Keola, Jo-Lynn P. Igarta, Marlene Texeira, Jo-Anna Herkes, Estelle Catugal and Juanita Kappler; brothers Moses De Vera and Richard, Benjamin, Francis and Rudy Yago; sisters Josepha De Vera, Yolanda Yasunaga and Estrellita Hubbs; 24 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
