James Keahua Gilman Jr., also known as “Kimo” and “Chief,” 78, of Honolulu, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Cheong Im; sons James IV, Robert, Richard “Kam,” Kurt, John and Gabba; daughter Charlene Andrews; sisters Pauline Ramos and Charline Masuyama; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
