Sandra Napua Lei Smith

Sandra Napua Lei Smith, 59, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a historian for the Hawaiian Natural History Association at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park on Hawaii island as well as a Ken's Pancake House and Uncle Billy's Hotel hostess and store clerk, died at home. She was born in Pearl City. She is survived by husband Anson, sons Hoku Young and Valen Yamaguchi, daughters Anslyn and Tinlyn, parents Tin Hu Jr. and Helen Young, brothers Billy and Marcus Young, sister Lehua Gunner, 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation:8 a.m. Nov. 10 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mountain View. Mass:10 a.m. Potluck to follow at Puhi Bay in Hilo.
