FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

ALEXANDER ‘ROGIE’ BAGOR PARAGES
ALEXANDER 'ROGIE' BAGOR PARAGES Alexander "Rogie" Parages, 74 of Ewa Beach, a retired Pearl Harbor Foreman (Shop 64) passed away peacefully with his Ohana by his side at Kuakini Medical Center on May 3, 2013. Known to many as "Rogie", "Bobby", "Bongo", and will be truly missed. He was a man of few words; his smile was his biggest asset as he was respected and loved by all. His love for baseball in high school, Pearl Harbor Shipyard League and the Bar Leagues were proudly displayed by his many trophies as a 2nd baseman. After a romantic courtship with his loving wife, "May" they were blessed with 51 years. In his latter years, he became his granddaughters' biggest fan and supporter as they lived up his dream as ball players. He will be remembered as raising " Love Birds" and growing "Vegetables and Fruits". He would spend hours on the computer researching everything about love birds and gardening from A to Z. He loved listening to Hawaiian music, singing and dancing and was a natural at making everyone laugh. He was a perfect example of someone "living it up, and enjoying life." Survived by Wife, May; Daughter, Danette Kualapai (Kevin); Son, David Parages (Alli); Sisters, Genevieve Delos Santos, Lucia Benoza; Brother, Ronald Steven Parages (Estelle); Granddaughters; Kalena Kualapai, Kelia Wright, Kilikina Dickey, Kapua Kualapai and 11 Great Grandchildren and many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be held on June 1, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial and will begin at 10:30am; burial to follow at Valley of the Temples at 2pm.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
