Yoshiaki Tobara, 96, of Mililani, a retired co-owner of Paradise Upholstery and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Battalion, Company B, died in Avalon Care Center. He was born in Piihonua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shizue; sons Lester Y., Mark Y. and Kent Y.; daughter Naomi Yamamoto; and five grandchildren. Private services.
