Kahilina'i Keli'iheleua McCarthy, 63, entered into the joy of the Lord on August 2nd, 2017. An inspiration to many, Na'i was truly the embodiment of Aloha. Her passion for hospitality and love of people made her an excellent ambassador of her island home. Those who've been fortunate enough to meet Na'i quickly understand why she was known as the ultimate 'Miss Aloha'. Eager to greet you with a beautiful smile and warm hug, she was famous for her genuine heart and willingness to serve. Her enthusiasm for life and intensity at which she loved could fill a hundred lifetimes. Blessed to fly the friendly skies as a flight attendant for Aloha Airlines, Na'i traveled the world while making life long friendships. Later, she would have the honor of imparting her wisdom in the art of hospitality to her students at KCC. An outstanding friend, sister, mother, and teacher, her faithfulness and strength was a pillar for many to lean on. We are forever grateful for the time that we were given with Na'i and will continue to carry on her legacy of grace, courage, and compassion. Although we will miss her joyful presence here on Earth, we are comforted knowing she was welcomed with opened arms into Paradise, surrounded by countless loved ones. We love you beyond words, Mama, and we'll see you soon. A hui hou. We invite all family and friends to join us in celebrating her full and vibrant life on Sunday September 10th at New Hope Ministry Center. Come dressed in your most colorful Aloha attire.
