Phyllis V.O. McEldowney, 93, of Honolulu, formerly of Hilo, a homemaker, died in Honolulu. She was born in San Francisco. She is survived by husband George; son Robert; daughters Lois Dyer, and Holly and Janis McEldowney; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to Hospice Hawaii and/or Shriners Children's Hospital Hawaii.
