Age 87, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away August 8, 2010 in Honolulu. Born April 30, 1923 in Waialua, Hawaii. A veteran of 442nd RCT & 100th Infantry Battalion. He retired from Pearl Harbor Public Work Center.
He is survived by wife, Margaret Ota; son; Ronald A. Ota; daughters, Christine F. (Dean) DeRosa of Virginia, Carole S. Ota, Lillian K. (Russell) Helton; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Sumi) Ota, George (Barbara) Ota; sister, Keiko (Toshi) Takehara; numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation 5:00 p.m. Saturday (September 4) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. Burial 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (September 7) at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
