73Peter M.L. Kekona Sr., 71, of Wailuku, a retired Goodfellow Bros. heavy equipment operator, died at home. He was born in Paukukalo, Maui. He is survived by wife Rachel; sons Peter Jr., Bronson and Peter III. Kekona, and Brandon Gomes; daughters Scarlett Vinge, U'ilani Kekona, Malani Rodrigues and Evelyn Fernandes; hanai sons Anthony Jr. and Leonard Jr.; brothers Anthony Sr. and Leonard Sr.; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Ballard Family Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Cremation to follow.
