73William C. Paiva, 92, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired former Hamakua Sugar Co. heavy equipment operator and former entertainer at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, died at home. He was born in Haina, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Emma; sons Eric and Richard; daughter Diana "Dee Dee" Aguiar; sisters Lorraine Begas, Dolores Amaral and Nancy Baptiste; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Honokaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial at a later date. Casual attire.
