Miriam Kelii Lien, 89, of Honolulu, a piano and organ teacher, died. She was born in Kahului. She is survived by sons John and Timothy; daughters Kathleen Halpern, Pauline Pollard, Jacqueline Ohai and Caroline Kokoo; brothers Nathanael, Charles, Arnold and Herbert Mahelona; sisters Shirley Miyahana, Jean Smith, Moana Dillon and Darlene Baines; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, Kahala Ward. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Valley of the Temples.
